ABOUT
US

We are a group of young musicians, students, and enthusiasts who share a number of common values: passion, philanthropy, dedication, art, and beauty. This is what we, at the “Maxima Entropia” Cultural Association, are all about. The desire to promote musical, artistic, and cultural knowledge in general—especially among young people and within the field of classical music—led to our foundation in 2011, and this mission has never left us. Over our 13 years of activity, we have witnessed the growth of countless musicians, established numerous collaborations, worked closely with outstanding professionals, organized dozens of events, and promoted cultural exchanges. More specifically, we organize training, refresher, and advanced study courses; cultural exchange activities; debates and conferences; introductory music education and music therapy programs; as well as music and cultural festivals that bring a love of culture to public squares and theaters alike, with the support of artists and professionals from the international cultural scene. We have always been distinguished by a strong environmental commitment and a deep appreciationfor the many hidden treasures of the Italian peninsula. Our activities are primarily concentrated in the mountainous areas of Abruzzo, natural reserves, marine protected areas, and archaeological sites. In January 2022, thanks to the collaboration of Francesca Lanz and Marcella Sanna, ForMusicAzione was established. Through this initiative, the Association organizes OrffSchulwerk methodology courses, teacher training and professional development programs, seminars, and intensive residential courses. ForMusicAzione has developed an innovative model of best practice for online music education, enabling it to provide meaningful training programs for all levels of the Italian school system. It is officially recognized within the national OSI (Orff Schulwerk Italiano) network. In addition to its concert activities at its own venues, the Association’s commitments for 2026 include participation in the European Music Day Festival (June 21), the third edition of the “Junior” Summer Campus (July 1–5), the sixth “Notes of Autumn” Chamber Music Festival (October 3–5, in the Marsica area), and the first edition of the Ambient'Azioni Musicali Sax Festival (August 30–31 and September 1).
